The Cayetano Referral Program is eligible to everyone who refers a new customer to Cayetano Development, LLC, including all employees except for the company's sales department staff and executives.
The program applies to lots in select subdivisions in San Antonio, the Rio Grande Valley, Laredo, Austin, Houston, Dallas, and Fort Worth. Participating members from across the United States can refer customers interested in purchasing a lot in any of these markets.
To be eligible for the Referral Program the member must refer an individual who is not an existing Cayetano Development customer, or currently in negotiations about becoming a customer.
The following exceptions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis for referrals received after June 20, 2026:
- Referrals who already exist in Cayetano’s database but have not been contacted or followed up with for a period of thirty (30) days or more, measured from the date the referral submission form is received.
- Referrals who already exist in Cayetano’s database but have never been contacted by the company’s sales staff.
- Referrals who were previously marked as lost leads in Cayetano’s database.
A referral will be deemed successful when the referred contact closes on their new land purchase. A $500 referral bonus will be awarded to the member for their referred contact’s purchase, independently if the purchase is of one or more lots.
A member is eligible to receive one referral bonus per referred individual. Likewise, any given individual can only be referred once for the Cayetano Referral Program.
The Referral Program is not valid, and rewards are not payable for self-referrals.
There is no limit to the number of referral bonuses a member can receive. Yet, to remain compliant under United States tax laws, any member who qualifies for more than one referral bonus during a calendar year must complete and submit an IRS W-9 form before any additional referral bonuses are awarded. The form can be downloaded directly from the IRS website: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf. When completed, members can submit it via email at helpdesk@cayetanodevelopment.com, making sure to include “Referral Program” on the email subject line, or deliver a hard copy at any Cayetano Development office.
When a referral bonus is issued, members will receive a check mailed to the address provided at on their personal dashboard, under "Account" --> "Update Profile". Members must make sure to provide their correct mailing address to ensure receiving their referral bonus. Cayetano Development is not responsible for any entry errors on the mailing addresses provided by members and referral bonus checks will not be reissued.
Cayetano Development, LLC reserves the right to cancel the Referral Program without prior notice in its entirety, for any particular subdivision or market, or for a specific member at any time for any reason.
